A 1936 model denim blouse from the transitional period when tack buttons for the front placket and cuffs shifted from small fly buttons to full-size top buttons. Made of 13.5oz. selvedge denim woven from slubby No.7 yarns in both warp and weft, showcasing the uneven texture of early spinning. The pre-war style is further highlighted by predominantly orange stitching. Lightweight denim is used on the underside of the left chest pocket flap, and selvedge can be seen along the facing edges of the front panel.
