Buzz Rickson U.S Army Brown Denim Pullover Jacket

The US Army adopted denim work jackets and trousers from World War I to World War II. The blue denim jackets adopted in 1919 are occasionally seen on the vintage market and their existence is known, but the brown denim jackets are not well known as they were produced before the blue denim jackets. The warp threads were brown natural indigo and the weft threads were ecru and black heathered yarn, which was a special fabric intended to make dirt such as dust less noticeable.
