The Buzz Rickson CCC cap is a simply constructed denim cap original produced by the U.S Army Quartermaster in the 1930's for the 'Civilian Conservation Corps' under F.D Roosevelt's New Plan.
Synonymous with early 20th century construction workers and blue collar workers in general and worn as a utility cap, to protect from sparks, oil and general detritus the simple close fitting design with short soft brim makes it an easy wearing modern day cap which, due to the unstructured style means it can be folded up an shoved in a back pocket without getting bent out of shape.
Buzz Rickson has produced this this cap in a lightweight selvedge denim with taped seams soft peak and period contact label.
These caps only come in two sizes 71/4 (Small - Medium) and 71/2 (Medium-Large) and will shrink with wear and washing, though can be stretch out to size when damp.
