The Buzz Rickson CCC cap is a simple denim cap, original produced by the U.S Army Quartermaster in the 1930's for the 'Civilian Conservation Corps', under F.D Roosevelt's New Plan.
Synonymous with early 20th century construction workers and blue collar workers, and worn as a utility cap to protect from sparks, oil and general debris, this simple unstructured cap means can be folded up an shoved in your back pocket without getting bent out of shape.
Buzz Rickson has produced this cap in a lightweight selvedge denim with taped seams, a soft peak, and the period contract label.
These caps only come in two sizes 7 1/4” (Small/Medium) and 7 1/2” (Medium/Large), but won’t shrink as the denim has been washed.
