Issued from 1944 right the way through till the end of the 60’s, the N-1 deck jacket has become an enduring piece of work-wear style: it’s functionality and simple design making it a favourite for post war bikers and hot-rod owners alike.
Originally being part of a three-piece set consisting of a jacket, dungarees & hat all made from the same ‘Jungle Cloth’. This windproof and water resistant Bedford cord shell and double faced Alpaca lining were made for working above deck in exceedingly harsh weather conditions at sea.
Buzz Rickson make this superbly detailed reproduction of the 1944 issued version faithfully true with all components such as period correct zips, buttons and labels. This jacket has been through a 'sea water wash' process which gives the jacket the authentic look and feel of an original.
This is the closest reproduction of a deck jacket we have come across, and the quality of its construction speak for itself.....truly a jacket for life.
