‘The Californian’ is a classically styled 'half-belt' jacket inspired by the leather sports jackets of the 1930's & 40's. Based specifically on the jacket worn by Jack Nicholson in the 1966 movie 'Hells Angels on Wheels'.
Made from a superb Italian veg-tanned horsehide, this jacket is the perfect weight which has been put through a gentle aging process that means it has been partially broken in. The half belt gives the jacket a great shape, and the bi-swing back allows for a range of movement without being constricted. Lined with 'End-zone' twill which is incredibly tough, lightweight, but allows the jacket to been worn close keeping its slim silhouette. Adjustable side cinches allow for a personalised fit for shape and layering.
