The 2009 or 1947 Type II model is a revised version of the 1947 Sugar Cane ‘Waist Dungarees’ made in a lighter 12oz rope-dyed natural cotton selvedge denim. The cut has been altered for a more fitted silhouette, with a lowered rise, slightly slimmed down leg and seat - giving these jean a great all round fit.
Reproduced to exacting standards of vintage denim, woven on original 1930's shuttle-looms.
These run true to size so buy your actual waist size unsanforized, but with little to no shrinkage in the waist and minimal shrinkage in the leg.
These run a inch larger in the waist so depending on desired cut, buy your actual waist size they are unsanforized and will shrink in the waist to the taged size and in length by 2-3"
