One of the most iconic denim jackets ever!!
The 507XX jacket is the modernised version of the 506XX (Type1). The most important switches in this follow-up jacket are that it’s less boxy than the 506XX, it’s a little bit longer, it has two breast pockets instead of one, and the cinch back has been removed.
Officially the jacket was introduced in 1953 - the same year Levi’s introduced their ‘double sided’ red tab.
