A slightly different offering from the usual Buzz Rickson offering, this classic work shirt features two flapped buttoned pockets, and comes in a wash giving it a super soft texture.
Chambray is taken from the French 'Cambrai', a small region in France where the cloth was first woven, it consists of different coloured, dense finely woven thread making up the warp and weft giving these shirts their light but durable qualities. Recommended in the 1831 edition or U.S Farmers Bulletin as the best shirt for the work in hand and adopted by the U.S Navy in 1901 through to the 60's the durable and enduing qualities of the chambray shirt means this is going no-where.
Buzz Rickson's offering is superb; from the quality of the 100% cotton densely woven dry chambray to the superb fit of these shirts no detail has been missed.
These shirts tend to run up on the small side, most customers go one size up from their normal sizing.
